We are James and Annie, a couple with four children and as a family we love exploring, being active and spending some quality time together finding adventures in new places at home and abroad. Alongside our busy careers in the NHS as health professionals we decided to launch into running holidays lets. At first people thought we were mad, branching out of our comfort zone, but we didn’t give up. It all came from a passion to provide families with a place to have a much needed break from the hard work and stresses of life. To give them somewhere that had all the comforts and amenities of a home-away-from-home but with a bit more luxury, and (if you are anything like us) a lot more tidiness!

We know only too well how a much needed break can restore the soul and give you revived energy, recharge the batteries and help provide the space and time to spend with those you love the most. We also realised, whilst travelling ourselves, how hard it can be to find a place with all the amenities needed for a family away, whether that be a travel cot or a high chair, all the way to children’s cutlery and books. We wanted to provide this to our families staying with us to give them peace of mind that their children were thought of and equally welcomed and valued as guests to stay rather than an inconvenience (as we often felt in the past). We love little ones to stay!

We have picked properties that have plenty of space, renovating a lot of them initially so they are in pristine, modern and luxurious condition and then adding our signature Green Room style, with decorative artwork, plenty of high quality soft furnishings, plush mattresses and as many splashes of green colour we can squeeze in. We then kit the properties out with all the provisions and amenities you might need for a 1 night visit to a 3 month stay. We really put our heart, soul and personality into each property and know from reviews that this really shines through for guests.

So, go ahead and take a break from the rat race, and give the kids a little treat too and book with us. You could take the kids to Marwell Zoo from our Southampton house for a day of monkeying around, coming back to relax in the tub before walking into the city centre for a cocktail or meal at one of the many restaurants. Or you could visit our Brighton and Worthing locations and spend some time at the beach, exploring the aquarium or roaming the Laines with the shops, bars and restaurants that are in abundance before crashing in the serene comfort of a holiday let with heart.
